I hope to be putting new(er) crap in my old crap Cougar over the winter. My old 289 is already bored .060 over and is quite tired.
It is cool that it’s straight from the manufacturer.

I am fucking amazed they fit this in, considering how much I had to push back the firewall in my CJ3A to fit a 302.

You do make a good point. The CJ5 could have had everything from an I4, I6, V6, or V8 from the factory. The Cj3A was always an F4 engine.
